31.7 Miles Per Gallon Saab Run
Julian SutterThis week the saab got 31.7 Miles Per Gallon
I ran a test across a full tank of gas this week. By driving slow and taking off slow from the lights AT ALL TIMES, I was able to increase my Miles per gallon to 31.7. This means that I’m saving almost 40% off of the normal cost of driving.
AWESOME!

It’s true… I witnessed this great feat!

I’m up to 25 finally with a 14 gallon tank. I just got some sensors and filters and such replaced. I might be able to get about another .5 to 1 more mile per gallon without changing driving habits.
I tried that 65 mph shit. It’s hard to do when you’re surrounded by idiots in rush hour on a 65 mile daily =[
Still looking into the metrolink.

Honestly. the 65 MPH SUCKS. Try going 55!
Actually the reason Laura saw me do the fill up Math, was because I was picking her up, and wasn’t about to drive 55 on the freeway with her.
But I think the biggest thing is my taking off from lights. I’m the slow guy now, not the fast one.

hehe, you’ve always been the slow guy
Okay, maybe a little faster than Andrew, but slow nonetheless
