A dog gets a more patient owner.

I was sitting at a local coffee shop wrapping up a design proposal when a very interesting sequence of events took place concerning a dog, a white man (seemingly his owner at the time) and a black guy from the park.

As I was looking out the window I heard a man yelling at what i first thought was a person.  When a small brown dog mutt came into view (with his blue leash dangling) I knew he was the verbal target.  Dog would run a few steps turn around and wait. When the mid 30s, beer bellied white gentleman walked towards the dog the dog would bound back two steps and circle around, parking himself out of reach, yet again.

Eventually the man yelled a few explatives and stormed off across the street and out of view.  The sad thing was that as he started crossing the street, the dog was about to follow.  Instead he lay down next to a tree and stayed.

About 30 seconds later a black man (seen in the photo) crossed over from the park.  He had been watching the whole thing, and started talking to the dog.  He tried the normal approach, which resulting in the dog bounding around just like before.  Eventually he started to ignore the dog.  As he did this, he was able to walk backwards towards the dog.  With a quick foot on the leash he was able to get ahold of it from the dog.

At this point the origional owner was no where to be found.  I have no clue as to were the dog is now, they walked in a direction I could not see.  This bit of action definately did interupt my proposal however.  Well worth it if you ask me.
